Maria is a newer investor who joined Suncoast REIA with the goal of getting started in real estate by attending SREIA meetings, learning from others, asking experienced investors lots of questions and using the knowledge she gleans at SREIA meetings to reach her goals, one step at a time. If you’ve attended a SREIA meeting, it’s likely that you have met Maria, since she maximizes her SREIA membership by attending almost all the meetings. Maria knows that investing in herself by way of taking classes and workshop to increase her real estate IQ is her best preparation to getting her deals done. Being new to real estate investing can be daunting, and fear of the unknown can keep the beginning investor paralyzed from taking action.
